Beyond Disability: Creating a more inclusive and enriched Church

The aim of the day is to help Christian groups and churches better understand physical and learning disabilities and develop positive and appropriate responses to disabled people. We will explore the need to value inter-dependence and to work hard to ensure churches are truly inclusive communities. The day will include teaching from experienced practitioners,

Young People and Religion Day

At King's College London on Wednesday 18th May is a free event but you must register by Monday 18th April

There are sessions on Religion and Growing up in Britain; Young Religious Identities; Christian Youth now and then and a practioner panel. Speakers, representative of various faiths, are drawn from KCL and univertisties in Leeds, Durham Edinburgh and Newcastle.

JustShare Lecture on Christian Social & Political Thought: ‘Let your Yes be Yes – the Christian imperative to change the voting system’, given by Jonathan Bartley (Founder and Co-Director of Ekklesia) Wednesday 13th April at 6.05pm, at St Mary-le-Bow, Cheapside EC2V 6AU and at the same venue Tuesday 26th April at 1.05pm, Cheapside Debate‘Value for your vote: the AV arguments rehearsed with questions answered’, featuring Mark Field MP and Andrew Duff MEP.

Scriptural Reasoning - Money, debt and Justice: A limited number of tickets are available from the Contextual Theology Centre for an exciting event with Cambridge Interfaith Programme and Citizens UK. On the morning of May 2nd, 150 Christians, Jews and Muslims will be reflecting on Biblical and Qu'ranic texts on money, debt and justice - before Citizens holds a 2000 person assembly to celebrate ten years of its Living Wage Campaign.
